Montego Bay – Man Killed on Fisherman Beach

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Man Killed on Fisherman Beach: The Barnett Street and Freeport police are now carrying out investigations into the death of a man, who was shot and killed by gunmen on the Fisherman Beach on Howard Cooke Boulevard in Montego Bay on Tuesday night.

Dead is Chad McKenzie, 23 years old, of a Montego Bay address.

Reports by the Freeport police are that at about 9:30 pm on Tuesday, October 24, Mckenzie was lying on a beach chair at the Fisherman beach when loud explosions were heard. A group of fishermen at the beach went to investigate and came upon McKenzie, who was lying in the chair, with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The police were alerted, and upon their arrival, the victim was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
