Jamaica Crime News: An unidentified man, who works as a motorcycle repairman at a bike shop located along Tate Street, in Montego Bay, St James was shot and killed by a lone gunman on Saturday, March 2.

Reports by the Barnett Street police are that about 4:00 p.m., the victim was carrying out repairs at the motorcycle shop when a man walked unto the premises.

The man reportedly brandished a handgun and opened fire hitting the motorcycle repairman multiple times to his upper body, before making his escape in the area on foot.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
