Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Gunman Shoots Teenager: A 19-year-old boy is now at the Cornwall Regional Hospital in critical condition following an incident where he was shot and seriously injured by a lone gunman in the Flankers community on Sunday night, January 14.

The Coral Gardens police report that shortly after 9:15 pm on Sunday, the teenage boy was standing along a section of the roadway at Church Lane in Flankers when he was approached by a man.

It is further reported that the man brandished a handgun which he used to open fire hitting the teenager to his upper body.

The gunman made his escape in the area on foot while residents in the area alerted the police and upon arrival, the wounded youth was transported to the hospital where he was treated and admitted.
