Chinese Wholesaler Arrested for Selling Countereit Items

St James, Jamaica – Chinese Wholesaler Arrested: The police Counter Terrorism and Organized Crime (CTOC) have arrested a Chinese national after the seizure of nearly J$10M worth of counterfeit items. Reportedly 37-year-old Younsen Li was picked up during a raid in Montego Bay on December 20.

According to police Younsen Li is the manager of a haberdashery in the second city.

 

At a press conference the Counter Terrorism and Organized Crime reported that the items confiscated include sneakers, slippers, bags, purses and hats.

 

Younsen Li is scheduled to appear in court on January 24, 2018.
