Jamaica Sports News, Montego Bay: Montego Bay Boys and Girls Club Netball Team continues with their good form of playing in the St James Foundation Netball association league. The team defeated seasons favorite and glamour team Angels ‘A’ 28 – 26.
Lately, the Montego Bay Boys and Girls Club has taken a new attitude of playing netball in the parish, and it seems that it is paying off.
Reneice Miller who played Wing Attack for the winning team was pleased with the victory. “It is a tremendous feeling to defeat the Angels team because over the years they have been the netball King Pin and we clipped their wings. We hope to go one better this year as we finished second last year,” said a confident Miller.
The team now has a new coach, Veronica Reid, who has a wealth of experience in the Game.
Montego Bay Boys and Girls Club Netball team will have their next match on Sunday at 6 p.m. against Pacers. Semola Juju, the team’s captain is expected to once again lead her team to the next win against Pacers.
