Mobay Truck Driver Arrested For Fraud

Latest Jamaica News, Montego Bay: A Montego Bay truck driver who failed to return $90,000 which he collected from a contractor to deliver a load of sand, was arrested and charged by the police on Wednesday, July 24, with Fraudulent conversion.

He has been identified as 43-year-old Garth Johnson, a truck driver of Cornwall District, in Rosehall, St James.

Reports are that earlier this month a Montego Bay Contractor paid Johnson $90,000 for a load of Sand.

Johnson took the money but failed to deliver the material. A report was made to the police which resulted in Johnson being arrested and charged.
