St James, Jamaica – MoBay Airport Employee Arrested: A male employed of the at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay was on Thursday, December 20 arrested for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act (DDA).
Narcotics Police report that at about 5:15 p.m., the man, who’s identity is being withheld pending further investigations, was caught as he attempted to enter a secure location at the airport in a ramp service vehicle.
Security checks of the vehicle revealed two packages containing approximately 4 pounds of Hashish.
The drug is estimated to value JMD $1.4 million.
