Missing Teacher Samuel Martin Found Dead

Jamaica Crime News, Clarendon: The decomposing body believing to be that of a missing St Andrew teacher, was found on a farm at a section of May Pen, in Clarendon on Thursday morning, April 25.

The May Pen police say they are unable to confirm the identity of the body at this early stage, but they are investigating if it is, in fact, that of missing St Andrew teacher, Samuel Martin.

The decomposed body was discovered by residents on a section of a farm in James Gully in May Pen.

Martin went missing since Friday, April 19 and the matter was reported to the police on Saturday, April 20.

He was last seen alive at a location in Mandeville about 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

In the meanwhile, one resident told our news team that Martin should not have ventured back into Mandeville, she can remember that some time ago he also went missing and he was found some time after showing signs of being beaten.

The May Pen police are still on the scene where the body was discovered this morning.
