Jamaica Crime News, St James: The Adelphi police in the parish of St James has confirmed that a 25-year-old woman who hails from Orange District and who was reported missing since Tuesday, June 5, was discovered in bushes in the area on Saturday, June 9, with her throat slashed.
The deceased woman has been identified as, Kimone Campbell, otherwise called “Kim” also of Orange District.
The police have reported that, Campbell was last seen at her home in Orange on the afternoon of Monday, June 4.
The following day, family members discovered that she was missing and a report was made to the police .
On Saturday afternoon, a resident of Orange community stumbled upon her partially decomposed body in bushes and alerted the police.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that Campbell had what appeared to be multiple stab wounds to her upper body and her throat slashed.
The scene was processed and the victim’s body later removed and pronounced dead at hospital.
