Missing Spanish Town Man Found Dead

Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: 24-year-old Odain Headly,  a trainee mechanic from March Pen Road in Spanish Town,  who was reported missing on the weekend was discovered dead in the Rio Cobre River on Monday, August 27.

Reports by the Spanish Town Police are that about 1:45 p.m., residents in Spanish Town saw the body floating in the water and alerted the police.

The police upon reaching the river had to seek the assistance of the Fire Department and it took the firefighters some time to fish out the body which was in a vast state of decomposition.

Upon investigating it was also discovered that the hands and feet were bound. The body was removed from the scene and pronounced dead at hospital.

The police also confirmed that Headly was reported missing at the Spanish Town Police Station on Friday,  August 24, by family members.
