T&T Designer Defends Outfits Given To Miss Universe T&T

Trinidad and Tobago- T&T Designer Defends Outfits Given To Miss Universe T&T: Yvonne Clarke’s outfits sparks  social media outburst, firing at one of her designer for the styles of two outfits – the designer however, stands behind his designs.

Reuben Gonzales said Clarke believes in his brand and design and saw it as an asset to have his pieces included in her wardrobe to display his work on an international scale such as the Miss Universe Pageant.

Gonzales said he gladly pledged his support by giving Clarke three pieces from his previous collections, which he created as fashion design student at the Caribbean Academy of Fashion and Design at the University of Trinidad and Tobago including the two pieces that were criticised.

Some Facebook followers of the Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago criticised the outfits and made Memes to mock them, while her fans rose up a standard to Clark’s defence.
