Mentally Challenged Man Murdered in Flankers

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Mentally Challenged Man Murdered: A man who is said to be mentally challenged was shot and killed by unknown assailants in the community of Flankers in St James on Saturday evening.

According to the police, shortly after 5:00 pm on Saturday, residents of a section of the Flankers community known as Red Dirt, alerted them after hearing loud explosions in the area.




On reaching the location they came upon the unidentified man, who was lying face down in a pool of blood, with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Residents informed the police that the victim is believed to be a mentally challenged man, who frequents the area, and is of no fixed address.

The victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
