Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: A heated argument between three construction workers who were working on the Construction site at the Cornwall Regional Hospital in Montego Bay, St James, on Tuesday morning, resulted in two of the men being shot and seriously wounded and another on the run.

Detectives attached to the Freeport Police Department in Montego Bay, St James, are presently combing bushes around the hospital compound in search of an armed construction worker who fled the scene.

Reports are that about 11:30 a.m., the men who are employed to a construction company carrying out repairs on the Cornwall Regional Hospital compound, got involved in a dispute.

The accused ran from the rear of the hospital compound into the neighboring community of Mt Salem and returned with a firearm.

He then opened fire hitting one employee with whom he had the dispute, and also hitting another construction worker who was standing in the vicinity.

Both wounded men were rushed to the emergency unit at the CRH where they were treated and admitted in serious condition.
