St. James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- MEN IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER BEING SHOT: Two men were shot and seriously injured by a group of gunmen during a drive-by shooting which occurred in the community of Lilliput in St. James on Sunday afternoon. Both victims a 20-yr-old laborer and a 25-yr-old unemployed man, both of Grange Pen in Lilliput; are still at the Cornwall Regional Hospital in serious condition.

Reports by the Barrett Town police are that about 1:00 p.m. on Sunday both victims were among a group of other men standing outside a shop at a section of the Lilliput community known as Hardware Lane. Minutes later a car drove up with three men on board. Two of the men alighted from the vehicle and brandished handguns.

The gunmen opened fire hitting both men to their upper bodies and then jumped back into the waiting motorcar which sped away. The Barrett Town police were alerted and on arrival, the wounded men were rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were treated and admitted in serious conditions.
