Latest Jamaica News, Manchester (McKoy’s News): Two men who appeared before the Manchester Parish Court on Wednesday to answer to charges of murder, were each granted bail in the sum of $300,000.
The accused men, Andre Newman and Colly Pennant, both of Silent Hill in Clarendon were facing the court for the September 2, stabbing murder of Sylvester Brown.
Both men were ordered to return to court on November 26.
Reports by the police are that on September 2, the men were at a sports complex in the area when an argument developed between them.
A knife was brought into play which was used by the men to stab Brown multiple times. Brown was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
