Jamaica Crime News: The Negril Police in the parish of Westmoreland say they have now identified two suspects in the shooting death of a member of the Negril Peace Management Initiative in the area on Friday night of June 1st.
The police have also reported that they believe that the men who are being sought for the murder of Donovan McNeish, of West Land in West End in Negril, may have fled the community.
The Negril Police have reported that, shortly after 10:15 pm, McNeish was in a board structured make shift house in West Land, when armed men kicked open the door and open fire hitting him all over his body.
The Police were summoned and upon arrival the wounded man was discovered in a pool of blood suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the Sav la Mar Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
One Police source told our news team that, McNeish had a very close relationship with members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force in Negril and it is alleged that he was being branded as a police informer and this may have contributed to him being killed.
