Oregon, USA (Mckoy’s News) – Meghan Markle’s future sister-in-law, Darlene Blount, was arrested for an alleged assault on New Year’s Eve.
Blount, who is engaged to Meghan’s brother, Thomas Markle Jr., faces charges of fourth-degree assault after a New Year’s Eve altercation with her fiancée’.
She was booked into Josephine County Jail, Oregon and held for a few hours before release.

Thomas Markle Jr. who said he has not spoken to his sister since 2011 made headlines in December when he spoke about his sister’s royal wedding set for May, saying Meghan knows where to find him, and if she wants him at her wedding [That’s if the soon to be royal is allowed to invite who she wants, according to Thomas], but there was no pressure, although he wouldn’t mind seeing his little sister having the “biggest wedding in the world.” He remarked, “That would be incredible.”
Thomas Markle is the half-brother of Meghan Markle, sharing the same father. According to reports, Meghan has said her mother will walk her down the aisles of the St George’s Chapel in Windsor come May 19.
Last month after Prince Harry said on a radio program that his family was the one that Meghan “never had. ” Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Grant, fired back at the Prince, saying her sister “has a large family who were always there with her and for her.”
