Jamaica News: Medical Doctor Found Dead at UWI – The St Andrew police are now combing sections of the University of the West Indies Mona campus for clues, following the discovery of the body of a 69-year-old, Medical Doctor which was discovered floating in a sewage pond on the University campus on Monday morning, February 4th.
The deceased has been identified as Judith Rose Spencer, a Medical Doctor of Great House Boulevard in Mona, Kingston 6. St Andrew.
Reports by the police are that about 7:45 a.m., on Monday, students at the University compound stumbled upon the body of the female medical Doctor in a sewage pond, which flows behind the chapel.
The police were summoned, and upon their arrival, Rose Spencer’s body was fished from the water and transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The police say they are now awaiting a post mortem examination result to determine the cause of death.
