Media Personnel Awarded by St James Municipal Corporation 

Several members from various media houses in St James, were awarded and feted by members of the St James Municipal Corporation at a function held in the Mayor’s Chambers on Thursday, January 10.

The function was entertaining and each media personnel left the event with a token. Master of ceremony Marlon Tingling took the audience down memory lane by quizzing them about the Municipal Corporation. The winners were rewarded with various prizes.

Nikita Sterling from JIS and Antonio Mckoy of Mckoy’s News received hotel day passes. Mayor Homer Davis thanked the media personnel for their support of coverage over the past two years since he took over office.

“I hope this will continue long after I leave office, the media is important to the Municipal Corporation, they are the ones who informed the public about what the corporation is doing, and as such, We want to thank you all, and hope to continue work together,”  said the beloved Mayor.
