Meadowbrook Double Murder

Kingston, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Meadowbrook Double Murder: Two persons were shot and killed in an incident which took place yesterday evening, November 11, in Meadowbrook Estate, Kingston.

The victims have been identified as 21-year-old George Phillips of Ridgeway Road,  Bombay Avenue and 31-year-old Toni-Ann Murray who is a cashier at Linscott Avenue.

According to reports from the Duhaney  Park police,  sometime around  8:27 pm, Miss Murray was sitting in a motor vehicle in the Meadowbrook community center premises, while  Mr.  Phillips sat on a makeshift stool in front of the community center.   Two men armed with guns approached them and opened fire. Both persons were hit multiple times and the men escaped in a motor car that was waiting.

Both miss Murray and Mr. Phillips were taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The Duhaney Park police are still carrying out investigations.
