May Pen Man Fatally Shot, Another Shot and Wounded

Jamaica News, April 16, 2018 – May Pen Man Fatally Shot, Another Wounded                                                                                                                          

Clarendon, Jamaica (McKoy’s New) – One man was shot and killed, and another shot and injured in May Pen, Clarendon on Friday night, April 13.

The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Nicario Guy of Havannah Heights and Wildlife District in May Pen, Clarendon.  The identity of the wounded man is being withheld by the police.

Reports by the May Pen police are that shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Guy and the other man were standing along a section of Fernleigh Avenue, when he was approached by a lone man. The man brandished a handgun and fired several shots hitting Guy multiple times to his upper body.  The other man who was standing close by also received gunshot wounds.

The May Pen police were summoned and upon arrival, both wounded men were transported to hospital where Guy was pronounced dead and the other man admitted in serious condition.
