Jamaica Crime News, Portland: Officers attached to the Portland Police Division seized 950 pounds of ganja during an operation carried out in Norwich, Portland on Friday, February 15.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
Reports by the police are that about 1:00 p.m., on Friday, a team of officers carried out an operation at sections of Norwich Community.
During the operation, a one-room board dwelling house was searched and the lawmen stumbled upon fifteen plastic bags.
A search of the bags revealed ganja weighing appropriately 950 pounds. The police say the drug has an estimated street value of $4.7 million dollars.
