Jamaica Crime News, Mandeville: The Mandeville police in the parish of Manchester say they are now asking members of the public for their assistance to locate and apprehend two men, who they say are behind the stabbing death of a popular chef in the area on Monday afternoon, August 21.

The police have given the name of the deceased as Desoma Henry,  otherwise called  “Chrusha” 38-year-old chef of Wagon Wheel in Hopeton, Manchester.

Reports are that about 7:10 p.m. on Monday,  Henry was at his home in Hopeton District when two men armed with knives entered the yard.

The men held Henry at knifepoint and demanded money.  When their demands were not met, they dragged him to the rear of the house and stabbed him multiple times to his upper body.

Neighbours who overheard him calling for help summoned the police and upon their arrival,  Henry was discovered behind the dwelling, lying in a pool of blood.

He was transported to the Mandeville hospital where he was pronounced dead.
