Manchester Police Seeks Public Help to Identify Gunman Who Was Fatally Shot

The Manchester police say they are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify a man, who was fatally shot by the police after he challenged them in a heated gunbattle in Porus, Manchester, on Tuesday, January 29th.

Our news team also learned that an illegal firearm was seized during the shooting.

The unidentified male is of dark complexion, slim built, and about 5ft-8ims tall.  He was clad in an army green shorts

A police source told our news team that shortly after 3:30 p.m., a team of officers were on patrol at a section of Porus, known as Ramble road when they spotted a group of men.

On seeing the police, the men opened fire and ran.  The fire was returned and the unidentified male was shot and killed.

The shooting is being investigated by the Inspectorate of Constabulary and a team from INDECOM.
