Manchester Farmer Held With Illegal Firearm, In St Ann

Jamaica News: The St Ann police have arrested and charged a Manchester farmer for possession of an illegal firearm, after he was caught with the weapon in his possession at a bar, in Mount Moriah, St Ann, on Saturday night, March 28.
The accused has been identified as 28-year-old Nadar Campbell, of Savoy Crescent, in Christiana, in Manchester.
Reports by the police are that about 11:00 p.m., a team of officers were on patrol in the community when they saw Campbell at a bar.
His actions arouse the suspicion of the police, and he was searched and found to be carrying a 9mm semi automatic pistol, fitted with a magazine containing 13 live rounds.
He was arrested and subsequently charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
