MAN STABBED TO DEATH ON BARNETT STREET IN MONTEGO BAY

One man was stabbed to death during a dispute with another man along a section of Barnett Street in Montego Bay,  St James on Tuesday,  August 7th.
He has been identified as Bryan Johns, 29-year-old,  laborer of Gutters district also in St James.
One man has been arrested by the Barnett Street police in connection with the stabbing incident.
Reports by the police are that about 11:36 am,  Johns was walking along a section of Upper Barnett Street when he and the accused got involved in a dispute.
A knife was brought into play which was used to stab Johns in his upper body.  A team of police who were on patrol in the area rushed to the scene and took the accused in custody.
The wounded man was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The Jamaica music fraternity was plunged into mourning after the passing of “Carrot” formerly of world renowned group Third World.
