St. Andrew, Jamaica (McN) – A man shot while driving with his toddlers on board, was on his way from the airport when he found himself in a hail of bullets in Mountain View, St. Andrew on Thursday April 13.
The injured man who picked up another man from the airport, arriving from Antigua, on his first visit to Jamaica was driving a black Range Rover in the Mountain View are with his children on board, ages Seven and Two – when a car pulled up behind him near the Mountain View Police Station and opened fire on the vehicle.
Police say at least 11 rounds were fired, before the gunmen fled.
The two children and the Antiguan man escaped harm in the barrage of gunfire. However, the driver was shot in the chest and hand, he was rushed to hospital.
