St. James, Jamaica (Mckoys News)- Man Shot Downtown Montego Bay : A man is now nursing gunshot wounds at the Cornwall Regional Hospital after he was shot by a man while walking in downtown Montego Bay on Monday (November 27, 2017) night.

The victim who is said to be in his early twenties and hails from a Montego Bay community was said to be walking along a section of Orange Street in the vicinity of a popular nightclub about 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Seconds after he was approached by a man who brandished a handgun and opened fire hitting him several times to his lower body.

The gunman then fled the scene on foot and escaped. The police were alerted and on arrival they transported the wounded victim to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he has been admitted.
