Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: Mckoy’s News have learnt that the St James police have gotten a name for a man who was shot and killed by gunmen at the intersection of Kings Street and Union Street, in downtown Montego Bay, St James on Monday night, February 11.

The deceased man is said to be Nigel Marshall, otherwise call “King Man” of a Buck Toe Lane, in Salt Spring, St James.

The police have also reported that Marshall’s killing is believed to be linked to a ongoing gang warfare and turf war which as been taking place in the Salt Spring community for some time now.

Reports by the Barnett Street police are that shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Monday the victim was walking along lower Kings Street when he was ambushed by armed men, who shot him to his upper body.

The police were summoned and upon arrival the scene was processed.
