Man Shot and Killed In Cacoon, Hanover, Another Shot And Injured

Latest Jamaica News, Hanover: The Hanover police are now carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting death of a man, and the shooting and wounding of another, in Cacoon district, in the Kingsville area of Hanover, on Sunday morning, July 7.

The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Delroy Williams, labourer of a Westmoreland address, while the identity of the injured man who still remains at hospital, is being withheld.

Reports are that about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Williams and the other man who hails from Cacoon, were walking along a Lane in the community, when they were pounced upon by armed men.

The gunmen opened fire hitting Williams and the other man multiple times, before making their escape in the area.

The Kingsvale police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded men were transported to the Noel Holmes Hospital, in Lucea, where Williams was pronounced dead, and the other man treated and admitted.
