Man Shot and Killed by Licensed Firearm Holder in St Ann

Latest Jamaica News, St Ann (McKoy’s News): An elderly taxi operator who allegedly transported two armed men who allegedly shot at a licensed firearm holder in Middlesex Tumberry, St Ann on Tuesday November 12, was fatally shot by the licensed firearm holder who returned the fire.

Dead is 66-year-old Trevor Lee Hosang, a taxi operator of Content district in Retreat St Mary.

Reports by the Moneague police are that about 6:45 p.m., the licensed firearm holder was walking along the roadway when a motor car drove up, and men travelling on board allegedly opened fire on him.

He took evasive actions and returned the fire, and two men were seen running from the car and escaped in the area.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, Hosang was discovered inside the vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to hospital when he was pronounced dead.
