Jamaica Crime News, Hanover: A taxi operator was shot and killed by a licensed firearm holder during a dispute, which took place in Lucea, Hanover, on Saturday night, March 23.
The dead taxi operator has been identified as 45-year-old Ian Irving, otherwise called “Bling Dawg” of Central Avenue, also in Lucea.
Reports by the Lucea police are that about 7:45 p.m., Irving parked his motor vehicle at the front of a business place, in Lucea, which is operated by the licensed firearm holder.
An argument developed between the two and it is reported that Irving attacked the business operator with a knife, and he was shot and killed.
The incident is now being investigated by a team of Investigators attached to the Lucea, CIB Department.
