Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Kingston police are now carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting and wounding of a man in Trench Town on Thursday, August 9.
Reports by the police are that shortly after 4:00 p.m., the man was walking along a section of the roadway when he was ambushed by men armed with handguns.
He ran to save his own life and was chased by the gunmen who opened fire hitting him to his upper body.
The gunmen then escaped in the area on foot while residents in the area summoned the police. Upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital where he was admitted in serious condition.
