Man Shot and Injured During Brazen Daylight Robbery at Barbershop in Montego Bay

Latest Jamaica News, Montego Bay (McKoy’s News): Brazen Daylight Robbery at BarbershopA man was shot and injured, following a brazen daylight robbery which occurred in the vicinity of Clock Tower Plaza on Barnett Street, Montego Bay, St James, this morning, September 16.

According to reports about 9:00 a.m. on Monday, a group of armed men entered a barbershop on Barnett Street and robbed the patrons.  It is alleged that the victim who entered the establishment with the intention of getting a haircut,  walked in while the robbery was in progress, and was shot multiple times all over his body. The gunmen then made their escape in a waiting motorcar.

13-Year-Old Girl Commits Suicide in St James

The police were alerted and upon arrival, the victim was rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he is now admitted.

The Montego Bay police are investigating.
