Man Shot and Injured by Gunmen in St James

Jamaica Crime News, St James: A 23-year-old man is presently in serious condition at the Cornwall Regional Hospital, in Montego Bay, St James, following his involvement in a shooting incident, in his community on Sunday night, December 9.

Reports by the Freeport police are that about 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, the victim was walking along a section of the roadway in Warika Hills, in Norwood, when he was ambushed by armed men.

The gunmen opened fire hitting the victim multiple times to his upper body, but he managed to run and later collapsed on a neighboring premises.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition.
