Jamaica Crime News, St James: The Freeport police in Montego Bay, St Jame, say they have now made a breakthrough into the identity of a man who was discovered shot to death on the compound of the National Water Commission Treatment Plant on the old road in Reading, St James, on Tuesday morning of June 19th.
He has been identified as 23-year-old Tajay McNarrin of Porto Bello also in St James.
Reports are that residents leaving at a section of Reading in St James, alerted the police after they stumbled upon McNarrin’s body about 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The residents also stated that, they overheard a barrage of gunshots being fired in the area on Monday night.
The police drove to the area and upon arrival, they saw the body which was lying in a pool of blood on the compound which house the National Water Commission Treatment Plant. The body had multiple gunshot wounds to the upper and lower regions.
The scene was processed and McNarrin was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
