Man in Gravel Lane Murder to Face Committal Hearing

Jamaica News: A committal hearing has now been set for Keniel Anderson who has been accused of the murder of a 23-year-old man, who was shot to death on Gravel Lane in October last year.

Anderson, 23, has been charged with the murder of Everette Dunkley, a security guard of Flanker in the parish.

St. James Parish Judge Sandria Wong-Small, who is presiding over the case, set a committal hearing date for June 26 and extended Anderson’s bail.

Allegations are that on October 12, 2018 about 1:50 a.m., Dunkley and another man were in a yard at Gravel Lane when Anderson walked pass Dunkley and bounced on him. Dunkley then asked Anderson what that was for, and the accused man pulled a firearm and fired a shot at him killing him. The other man fled the scene.

Following investigations, Anderson was taken into police custody and charged with the murder.
