Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Detectives attached to the Kingston Eastern Division, have indicated that they are still unable to release the name of a man who was held in connection with the seizure of an illegal firearm, and several rounds of ammunition, in Mountain View Avenue area in Kingston 2, on Friday, April 19.
Reports are that about 8:50 p.m., the police carried out a raid in the area, where they saw the accused who was acting in a suspicious manner.
He was accosted and searched, and found in possession of Arcus 9mm pistol, fitted with a magazine containing fifteen live 9mm rounds.
The accused who was also found in possession of a quantity of ganja was taken into custody.
