Man Hangs Self with Own Belt in Kingston

Jamaica News, Kingston: Investigators attached to the Admiral Town Police Station are now carrying out investigations surrounding the death of a man, who is believed to have taken his own life by hanging himself with his belt, at Russell Crescent,  in Kingston, on Wednesday, January  30.

He has been identified as 32-year-old Oral Brown of Russell Crescent in Kingston 12.

Reports by the police are that about 7:30 a.m., a family member noticed that she did not see Brown at the house so she went to investigate.

After going into a room, she stumbled upon Brown’s body which was hanging from a sill in the roof, by a belt which was tied around his neck.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, Brown was cut down and transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
