Man Eludes Cops After Dumping Bag With Dozens Of Bullets In St Andrew South

The Police searching for a suspect reportedly escape from cops leaving a plastic bag containing 70 assorted rounds of ammunition in the volatile St Andrew South Police Division on Friday, November 8.

He remains at large, the police say.

It is reported by the police that the incident took place at about 3:40 p.m. in the community of Oak Glades, St. Andrew.

The division has been under a state of emergency since July 7.

According to the Hunts Bay Police report that a team was on patrol in the area when a man carrying a plastic bag acted in a suspicious manner.

He dropped the bag, ran after seeing the police and escaped on foot.

The bag with the ammunition was retrieved.
