Man Confessed after Being Caught with Cocaine at Airport

Latest Jamaica News, Montego Bay (McKoy’s News): A Jamaican national who resides in London, England, confessed to the police after he was caught with a quantity of cocaine concealed in his fly pack, while attempting to board a flight out of the country, at the Sangster’s International Airport in Montego Bay, on Tuesday.

Facing charges of possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine, attempting to export cocaine and conspiracy to export cocaine his 55-year-old Terrence Owen James, mechanic of Bog Walk, St Catherine, and 52 Manor Road in London, England.

His accomplice, 26-year-old Marlon Mullings, otherwise called ‘Dane’ a barber of Hartese in Mandeville, Manchester, was also arrested and jointly charged.

Reports are that about 5:20 p.m., James arrived at the airport to board a flight to England. His luggage and fly pack were searched and cocaine found concealed in his fly pack.

He immediately told the officers that the drug was put there by Mullings. He was taken into custody and an operation carried out in Mandeville which led to Mullings being arrested, and jointly charged.
