Mayor raped him, is the claim of a Kent man about Seattle’s mayor

It seems the saying “demons never die” is proven today as a man is now making claims that the Seattle mayor raped him and two others back in the 1980s and he now seeking redress.

Ed Murray, who became mayor in 2013, and release his sexual orientation of being a homosexual in 1980, is now facing serious legal woes in his bid for re-election. The man in which he alleged sexually assaulted, decides to come forward now.

The man, under the initials “D.H.”  who is now 46 years old, was 15 at the time when the alleged sexual assaults took place. He spoke openly of being a crack addict at that age, and the now mayor raped him and gave him $10 and $20 to support his crack addiction.

“I have been dealing with this for over 30 years,” the man, now sober for a year, said in an interview with The Seattle Times. He said he was coming forward as part of a “healing process” “after years of the shame, the embarrassment, the guilt, the humiliation that I put myself through and that he put me through,” said the alleged victim.

“These false accusations are intended to damage a prominent elected official who has been a defender of vulnerable populations for decades. It is not a coincidence that this shakedown effort comes within weeks of the campaign filing deadline. These unsubstantiated assertions, dating back three decades, are categorically false. Mayor Murray has never engaged in an inappropriate relationship with any minor. … Mayor Murray will vigorously fight these allegations in court.” Those were the words of the mayor’s personal spokesman Jeff Reading.

This is not the first accusation of  the mayor, the most powerful politician in Seattle and a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,Transgender (LGBT) Seattle advocate of sexual abuse; but the 61-year-old have quietly denied those allegations.

Jeff Simpson and Lloyd Anderson, said they knew Murray when they were growing up in a Portland center for troubled children, and later as teenagers. Allegedly the ‘Mayor raped them’ in the 1980s, and Simpson when he was in his 20s. Simpson made the claim as a teen in 1984, and talked with a social worker and detective at the time. No charges were filed.
