Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: Marlon Robinson, a 32-year-old laborer was chopped to death by another man in August Town, Glengoffe in St Catherine on Sunday, August 12.
A woman and another man was also chopped and injured during the incident.
Reports by the Glengoffe police are that about 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, the female was at her home in August Town when an argument developed between her and another man.
The man used a knife to inflict a stab wound to the female and she ran from the yard and sought refuge inside Robinson’s house.
The man chased the woman inside Robinson’s house and an argument developed between both men. The accused who was armed with a machete attacked Robinson and inflict several stab wounds to his upper body.
Another male neighbor rushed to assist Robinson and the accused also turned on him and chopped him.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, all three wounded persons were rushed to hospital where Robinson was pronounced dead and the other two victims admitted.
