Man Chopped His Wife Dead – Sentenced to Four Years

St Catherine, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) — Man Chopped His Wife Dead: Last Friday the St Catherine Circuit Court sentenced a man from the Pointhill district, in the parish of St Catherine, who pleaded guilty to chopped his common-law wife to death, to four years in prison.
Errol Morrison who is charged with the murder of Hermalin Bell, a 42-year-old labourer also of Pointhill, pleaded guilty to manslaughter after using a machete to chop the deceased all over her body when an argument developed between the two.
Bell collapse from the attack and died on the spot.
Morrison later turned himself in to the police, after fleeing the community directly following hacking his live-in-wife to death.
He was arrested and charged him with murder.
