Man Charged for Stabbing Death of Family Member in Trelawny

Jamaica Crime News, Trelawny: A Trelawny man has now been charged with the murder of his family member in Duncans, Trelawny on Monday, September 17.

The accused is now facing charges of murder against 50-year-old Howard Saunders,  otherwise called “Howie” Electrician of Samuel Prospect in Duncans, Trelawny.

Reports by the police are that about 5:30 p.m. on Monday,  Saunders and the accused were at their home in Samuel Prospect with other members of their family when a dispute developed between both men.

The accused used a knife to stab Saunders in the regions of his upper body.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Following investigations,  the accused was taken into custody.

He is booked to appear in the Duncans Parish Court later next week.
