Man Charged For Shooting Incident in Blue Hole

Latest Jamaica News, St James (McKoy’s News): Twenty-six year-old Mandes Baker, labourer of Blue Hole in Montpelier, St James, was charged by the police for Shooting with Intent, stemming from an incident which occurred in the community on Saturday November 23.

Reports by the police are that about 12:45 p.m. last Saturday, Baker who was armed with a handgun went to the home of a another man in the community with whom he had a dispute.

An argument developed between the two and Baker allegedly pulled the handgun and fired several shots at the other man, who managed to run from the location without being shot.

Minutes later, the victim went to the police station and was making a report when Baker was seen entering the yard, and he was immediately taken into custody.
