Man Being Sought for Triple Murder and Murder of Ex-Police Sergeant Captured in Kingston

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: A man who the police say was on Jamaica most wanted list over the past two years, after he escaped custody and has been featured in several murders, shootings and armed robberies in and around St Mary and St Andrew has now been captured.

The accused Charles Hamilton, otherwise called “Tuggy Tuggy” of both St Mary and St Andrew addresses was being sought in connection with several murders including the murder of Ex-Detective Sergeant, Trevor Williams, who was shot and killed in Stony Hill on Friday, December 2017.

Hamilton was also being sought for the triple murder of Albert Pryce, 62-year-old farmer, along with Russell Williams, 25-year-old Bartender and her eight months old daughter, Aleah Sewell, of Swift River District in Portland on September 8, 2016.

The police say the hardcore gunman was captured during an operation carried out at the intersection of Dunrobin Avenue and Constant Spring Road in Kingston on Saturday, April 28.  Several other men were also taken into custody during the operation and are presently being processed.

Hamilton is already facing a 16-year prison sentence, after he was convicted for Shooting with Intent and was awaiting sentencing in August of 2016, he managed to escape custody at the Islington Police Station in St Mary.
