Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: The Freeport police in Montego Bay, say they are now in search of a man, who they say can assist them in their investigation, surrounding the stabbing death of an unidentified homeless man, along a section of Jimmy Cliff Boulevard (Bottom Road) in Montego Bay, on Tuesday morning, July 2.
The police say the deceased is believed to be in his late fifties, to early sixties.
Reports by the Freeport police are that about 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday, motorists traveling along the tourist hip-strip stumbled upon the body of the unidentified male, which was lying along the sidewalk, in a pool of blood.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, the body was discovered in the vicinity of Pork Pit, with stab wounds to the back of the neck.
He was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A search has now been launched for a male suspect, believed to be involved in his killing.
