Ezroy Parker, the St James man who is accused of using a piece of board to inflict wounds, to a man who he accused of working obeah, had his bail extended when he appeared in the St James parish Court, on Tuesday, October 23rd.
Parker, who hails from St Johns district, in Retirement, St James, had his bail extended until November 13th,2018.
Reports by the police are that on March 8th, Parker’s received a complaint from his sister that the alleged obeah man approached her with certain arguments, which would indicate that he was practicing obeah.
Parker armed himself with a piece of board and went in search of the complainant.
After catching up with him at a section of the community, Parker accused the man of practicing obeah and then used the piece of board to strike him multiple times in the regions of his face and back.
A report was made to the Granville police, and following an investigation, the accused was arrested and charged with assault and occasioning bodily harm.
Parker was scheduled to stand trial Tuesday morning, but presiding Judge, Sandria Wong-Small rescheduled the case because she had another trial matter.
