Man and Woman Arrested at Airport for Consuming Cocaine

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: A man and a woman whose identities are being withheld were arrested at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston on Monday, August 6, for suspected Breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act.

Reports by the Narcotics Police are that on Monday night, the two accused arrived at the Kingston airport on a flight from Guyana.

On reaching a security checkpoint, they were being processed when it was observed that they had ingested several pellets of Cocaine.

The two were transported to hospital where they were admitted under police guard.

The Jamaica music fraternity was plunged into mourning after the passing of “Carrot” formerly of world renowned group Third World.
